Atmosphere

If there’s one room in De Kuip that’s perfect for meetings, it’s the Press Room. It's no coincidence that this is where journalists talk to Feyenoord's coach almost every week. The room is cosy, and the Feyenoord atmosphere makes it a special place for a meeting. The club from Rotterdam inspires you during the meeting and brings positive energy to the group.

Convenient

A projector, projection screen and high-quality audio equipment, that's all you need besides the desired seating arrangement. The Press Room has it all. Here, meetings progress steadily, and you and your colleagues gain new insights. The chairs with Feyenoord logo are equipped with folding tables, so that everyone can easily make notes. Nice extra: this room offers direct access to the press stand in the stadium, where guests can have a look at the sacred grass of De Kuip.

Customisation

This space can be customised to inspire your colleagues and/or guests even more. Last but not least: all the rooms, including the Press Café, are equipped with free WiFi. Are you looking for variety during your event in the space? How about a guided tour through the imposing Kuip to get a peek into all its special places? Of course, there’s also the option of combining the activities with the extensive culinary possibilities.

Good accessibility

The stadium can be reached easily via the A16 motorway or by public transport. Guests can bypass long and narrow access roads and don’t have to worry about lack of parking space at the conference venue. De Kuip has 1,000 free parking spaces at the door - a luxury in a busy city like Rotterdam.

About Fred Blankemeijer

Fred Blankemeijer served Feyenoord in a multitude of roles and can justifiably be called a primeval Feyenoorder. One of the positions that Blankemeijer held in De Kuip was that of press secretary, which he fulfilled with verve for many years from 1991 onwards. When that role came to an end in 2008, the press room at De Kuip was renamed the Fred Blankemeijer room.
